Homework: Each session has a homework set, available on-line at http://infohost.nmt.edu/~wdstone/ Clicking on the ST 550 link will lead you to
a course outline. Each session has a
link to the appropriate homework assignment.
(Note that there are two assignments for session 3!) Homework may be mailed to me, attached to an
e-mail, hand delivered, or faxed to 575-835-5366. Please send it to me as you get it done, no
more than 2 or 3 assignments at a time.
Text: There is no assigned text. You may find it useful to have a copy of
whatever Pre-Calculus book is used in your school, for reference.
Grading: The grading is based on the homework;
there are no tests. Although you are
encouraged to study with another teacher taking the course (if possible), each
person needs to do their homework on their own.
Because of the number of
students I have, I cannot have everyone turning everything in at the end.
Therefore, for the last 4 weeks of the semester I will not accept more than two
assignments per week. Everything must be in by the last day of classes. If you
turn in work in violation of these two rules, I may choose to grade it, but you
will receive only ½ credit.
